T-10 Barcelona: The prohibited Zone

The T-10 is a ticket for the public transportation system in Barcelona and a quite boring artefact of reality to write about.
But if the magnetic stripe on your T-10 gets damaged you can change it to be able to use the remaining trips on it.
I did that and what I got was even more than I expected: the access to the prohibited zone of Barcelona! – now I only have to find the entrance ;)

Ubermorgen.com analyzes the contemporay discourse of torture

Ubermorgen.com - Superenhanced
The austrian artist duo Ubermorgen, known for their 2005 project GWEI (Google will eat itself), are presenting their new solo exhibition Superenhanced. It deals with the aesthetic and linguistic implications of the actual renaissance of torture in western societies under the justification of the so called “war on terrorism”.

“ubermorgen.com gets to grips with this sinister subject matter, but rather than condemning a human rights outrage that is there for all to see, appears to be more interested, on one hand, in exploring the hypocrisies of the language that renders it acceptable, and on the other the moral position of the spectator when exposed to ambiguous questions and disturbing images. The point of departure is the Superenhanced Generator, a web project (displayed in installation form) that contains a smart interrogation engine, basically capable of comprehending the spectator’s responses, and that generates a fake legal document (a foriginal), modelled on rendition orders and interrogation protocols.”
